A single-family household caught fire on Methodist Road in Westbrook Monday.
The all-hands fire broke out at 802 Methodist Road around 5:40 p.m. The fire was hidden in the walls and ceiling, and fire crews spent most of their time trying to get to the flames fire chief Andrew Turcotte said. They were able to put it out and it did not spread to the rest of the house.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
