Maine Cabin Masters continue successful run with 9th season

The Mainers now run a restaurant, event space, and shop in addition to doing full-time carpentry and design work.

MANCHESTER, Maine — The Pine Tree State-based camp renovators, known as the Maine Cabin Masters said they have thousands of applications from folks trying to hire their services.

And in 2020, they created their Manchester headquarters; complete with a bar and restaurant, an outdoor music venue, and a store that includes items from local artisans.

"Between the restaurant, the retail, the construction side of things—close to 50 employees," Chase Morrill, leader of the group of contractors who became MCM, said. "And then you throw the TV side onto it. It is a lot to juggle, but we live in the state; we love the state; we’re here for a reason. We’re not going anywhere once the TV show’s gone. So, we want to make sure we’re setting ourselves up, the community up, our family up for success; and everybody rises together."

New episodes of Maine Cabin Masters air Monday nights at 9 p.m. on the Magnolia Network. Morrill said the crew is currently filming its next season, with no signs of stopping.
