The current cold and rainy pattern may be breaking down. There are signs of a warm up on the horizon.
The jetstream will take on a Summer look next week. Heat will build in the South and bubble north through the Mid-Atlantic. It always has a tough time making it all the way into Maine, especially this time of year with the Gulf of Maine so cold. But chances are growing that we see 70 degrees or higher!
There's no doubt the temps aloft can support very warm surface heat. The question is will the wind have any off the ocean directional component.
I'm not all in or completely convinced yet, but let's just say the trend is favoring a big warm up.
Have a good weekend.
