'Take your dog out to the ballgame' | Portland Sea Dogs welcomes canine fans

Hadlock Field will host four games this season, open to baseball fans and their canine friends.

PORTLAND, Maine — Plenty of people bring their kids to watch the Portland Sea Dogs at Hadlock Field each year, but what about baseball lovers whose children just so happen to be adorable dogs?

The Red Sox' Double-A affiliate will welcome fans and their canine friends to four home games this season: April 19, May 22, June 20, and July 1.

Each game will feature a pregame doggie parade, special seating in the left field grandstand (a dogs-only section), doggie valets to help care for dogs, and a private entrance on the third base line.

All dog owners must purchase a ticket for their furry friend for entrance to the game. "Bark in the Park" tickets are $12 for adults, $9 for kids/seniors and $11 for dogs. There are only 300 tickets available for each game, all tickets are general admission.
