CARIBOU, Maine — The body of a man was found in Caribou Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
Police said the man was found on the banks of the Aroostook River between the dam and Fort Street at about 1 p.m.
The man's body was taken to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy. His identity was not released.
Police did not release further details Tuesday night.
