LEWISTON, Maine — Maine State Police are assisting Lewiston police in investigating the death of an infant.

Officials were called to 709 Main Street in Lewiston shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss told NEWS CENTER Maine.
