The storm Monday brought devastating winds and heavy rains that caused severe flooding and major infrastructure damage. Here's what you're seeing around the state.

MAINE, USA — The deadly storm Monday brought devastating winds and heavy rains that caused flooding and major destruction to local infrastructure. 

Downed trees took down powerlines, causing hundreds of thousands of power outages statewide, and floodwaters continued to rise Tuesday, spilling over dams and riverbanks and even onto roadways.  

Emergency crews and public safety response teams are coming to the aid of their communities, as utility crews continue to assess the damage, restore power, and plan for repairs.
