PORTLAND, Maine — Up until yesterday, Portland had only received 0.7 of an inch of snow for the season. It's almost the latest to not receive 1 inch of snow ever.
Well, we certainly took care of the snow drought.
Many southern Maine towns picked up over a foot of fluffy snow. Sadly, northern Maine and the mountains didn't get much at all. But there's hope for them, with more snow is on the way later this week and the mountains look to be in the sweet spot.
