High temperatures today top out in the 70s before a front brings a line of showers and storms through Maine.
The rain will be welcomed, but don't expect much from this. Showers clear overnight and there could be some patchy fog in their wake. Temperatures will mostly be in the upper 50s or low 60s.
Sunshine develops on Friday with highs in the 70s.
Saturday morning will start off pretty cool compared to the past few weeks, with temperatures in the low to mid 50s. Partly sunny skies will let temperatures climb into the mid to upper 70s.
There could be more clouds or even some showers on Sunday as an area of low pressure approaches. The highest risk for showers will be Downeast, but there's a chance anyone could see them. Highs will be in the 70s.
Monday will be partly cloudy, with the threat for soaking rain by Tuesday afternoon. This light, soaking rain may not wrap up entirely until late Wednesday or even early Thursday! The rain is much needed, though.
Have a great day.
