The Maine Celtics will take on the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League Finals at the Portland Expo Center.

PORTLAND, Maine — The Maine Celtics are on the verge of their first championship in team history.

The developmental team for the Boston Celtics will take on the Oklahoma City Blue in the third and final game of the G League finals at 9 p.m. Monday at the Portland Expo Center. Tickets are available on the resale market.

The game will be televised on ESPNU and broadcast on radio at 96.3 FM, The Big Jab.

The Celtics are led by JD Davison, Drew Peterson, Neemias Queta, and Jordan Walsh, who all played for Boston in the team's win Sunday against the Washington Wizards.

Maine routed Oklahoma City 106-86 in Game 1 then lost to the Blue 99-89 in Game 2.

The Celtics were originally founded as the Maine Red Claws in 2009.

The game isn't the only Maine-related professional basketball action Monday night. The WNBA Draft is also Monday night and Maine native Mackenzie Holmes is expected to be selected.
