RHMC’s goal is to provide comfort for the families of pediatric patients and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of all children. RMHC allows families to heal and be involved in their children's care throughout the process.

All proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine for children, a nonprofit organization that helps to nurture the health and well-being of children and families in Maine. Their Ronald McDonald House programs provide a home away from home where families find a warm welcoming smile from a friendly volunteer, a home-cooked meal to enjoy after a long day at the hospital, a restful night’s sleep in a caring environment, and emotional support from other families who are experiencing a similar situation.
