Update: Kennebunk woman reported missing has been located

Police had issued a Silver Alert for the woman early Tuesday morning.

KENNEBUNK, Maine — Update

Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a 7:10 a.m. update Tuesday that the woman has been safely located.

The Kennebunk Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a 77-year-old woman from Kennebunk. 

She suffers from cognitive issues and has been missing from her home on Cheshire Meadow Lane in Kennebunk since Monday, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a release issued at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Police description:  

  • white female
  • 5'02"
  • 130lbs
  • blonde hair
  • blue eyes

Police report that she is driving a gray 2015 Jeep Compass with Maine registration SUZE and may be wearing leggings and a sweater and according to her family may be in the Bridgton area even though she does not know anyone there. They say she is not answering her phone.
