Rep. Golden's Bangor office vandalized

A spokesperson for Golden said local police are aware of the incident.

BANGOR, Maine — Maine Congressman Jared Golden's Bangor office has been vandalized.

The words "CEASEFIRE NOW" were written across the windows of the office in what appeared to be spray paint.

A spokesperson for Golden provided the following statement from the congressman: “My support for Israel in its war against the terrorist organization Hamas remains unwavering, and will until every hostage taken from Israel is returned and Hamas’s military capabilities are fully dismantled such that they can no longer launch terrorist attacks against Israel and its allies.”

Sgt. Jason McAmbley of the Bangor Police Department confirmed a report of criminal mischief at Golden's office. He said it is under investigation.

Epstein Properties is the property manager for Haymarket LLC, which owns the building.

The person who cleaned the windows and the receptionist for Epstein Properties both confirmed Epstein called to have the graffiti removed.

Epstein Properties declined to comment on the incident.
