Woman stabbed in parking lot of Lisbon apartment building

Police find blood in parking lot of Farwell Mill Apartments where stabbing allegedly occurred

LISBON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Reports of a stabbing involving three people brought police to an apartment building in Lisbon.

Police found a man and woman at the parking lot of Farwell Mill Apartments when they arrived at 2 a.m. on Sunday. Police said another woman took off after being stabbed in the neck and arm, leaving behind traces of blood.

With help from a police dog, a search for the unknown third party led officers to a nearby apartment where they found a 32-year-old woman with stab wounds. Police said she declined their offers of medical treatment.

In an updated release, police said they arrested 38-year-old Lindsay Knight of Lisbon at 10 a.m. Sunday in connection with the stabbing that took place earlier in the Farwell Mill Apartment parking lot.

They said the weapon involved was recovered.

Knight has been charged with aggravated assault and was released on $500 cash bail. She's scheduled to be in court on Dec. 7.

Police said there is no further information available on the victim's medical condition.

They ask anyone with information that might help this investigation to call them at 353-2500.
