WESTBROOK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Westbrook police say they have received a report about a very large snake in Riverbank Park.
Officials said, "report was the snake was as long as a truck and the head the size of a soccer ball."
The snake was reportedly observed on the riverbank at the rear of the playground on both the Main Street and brown Street sides of the river.
Westbrook dispatch said they were asked to post the information on Facebook by the Maine Warden Service.
Officials are asking anyone observing the animal call the Westbrook police department at (207) 854 - 0644.
Officials add if you do see the animal, do not attempt to capture it yourself.
