AUGUSTA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police say a New York man wanted in connection with an Augusta homicide late last year has been arrested in New York City.
26 year-old Aubrey Armstrong was taken into custody inside a home in Queens last week and he appeared in a New York courtroom on a fugitive from justice charge Monday.
Armstrong is the fourth person charged in the death of 31-year-old Joseph Marceau, who was killed inside an apartment on Washington Street November 23, in a drug related homicide.
Three others were charged with murder in the case. Two men are pending upcoming judicial proceedings and a woman charged committed suicide in her jail cell shortly after her arrest. Armstrong’s return to Maine to face his murder charge is pending his court appearances in New York.
