There are still a lot of questions swirling around the deaths of two people in South Paris. Police have declined to say how Heather Bickford and Dana Hill, both 31 years old, died. They're also not commenting on whether their deaths are suspicious.

Police say Bickford and Hill's bodies were found Tuesday night at their apartment on Market Street, after a man, who knows the couple, called police. Bickford's two young children were also in the apartment. Police say they were not injured and are in DHHS custody.

State Police evidence technicians have been at the apartment for two days investigating and gathering evidence.

Bickford, before she moved to the Market Street Apartment with Hill, lived with her sister on Staples Hill Road in Canton.

Neighbors remember Bickford as a friendly and kind person.

Wendal Parlin says "it's a shock, it's a really deep shock. She was a likable person, always happy, never said anything against people, always nice to people. It's still a shock."

Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland says autopsies on Bickford and Hill began Wednesday and are not yet complete.
