String of shooting incidents in Acton, Lebanon investigated by York County Sheriff's Office

Shots were fired at two different homes, one in Acton and one in Lebanon. No one was injured during the incidents.

YORK COUNTY, Maine — Deputies in York County are investigating a string of recent shooting incidents that happened in Lebanon and Acton.

Shots were reportedly fired on Jan. 4, Jan. 28, and Feb. 2 at a home on Richardson Drive in Lebanon, the York County Sheriff's Office said Monday in a news release.

"All shootings targeted the same home," deputies said.

Shots were also fired on Feb. 3 at a home on Sanborn Road in Acton, according to the release.

"Investigators believe these events were directed towards specific homes," the release stated.

No one was injured during any of the shooting incidents.

Deputies ask anyone who may have information about these incidents to contact Det. Sgt. Kyle Kassa with the York County Sheriff's Office at kakassa@yorkcountymaine.gov or the Sanford Regional Communications Center at 207-324-3644, option 1.

Deputies added that anonymous tips will be honored.
