(WITN) -- A Labrador Retriever in Kinston, North Carolina gave birth to 17 puppies on Monday.
The puppies are a mix of colors, 11 yellow with the rest chocolate and black labs. It was the first litter for mother Bailey.
Lina Emory, owner of the dog that fathered the litter, says the world record litter size for labs is 19. The previous North Carolina state record was 16.
Bailey's owners, John and Stephanie Wallace say, they will keep one of the puppies but will also sell them to individuals they deem fit to raise the labs.
