Hot Wheels Monster Truck Live comes to Portland this weekend for the first time

The two-hour show includes all sorts of competitions from the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, laser lights, music, dancing, freebies, and a lot more.

PORTLAND, Maine — The Hot Wheels Monster Truck Live show is crushing the city of Portland this weekend for the first time with four shows.

It's happening at Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, and tickets start at $8 for kids and go up to $30 for adults. Adults have a chance to get a 25 percent discount if they purchase a ticket online using the promo code word CHANCE, but that is available only until 4 p.m. Friday.

The show features all sorts of competitions, battles, and jumps between all the monster trucks. The glow-in-the-dark laser show is for kids and people of all ages. It'll also have a special appearance from the car-eating, fire-breathing transforming robot, and a lot more.

There is also another event happening before the big two-hour show called the Crash Zone. The event gives fans exclusive access to their favorite Hot Wheels Monster Trucks up close right at the arena's floor before the show. This is a separately ticketed event, and people can contact the box office for more information or to buy tickets.

All of the trucks are equipped with LED lighting allowing them to glow in the dark, fog, laser lights for people, and vibrant glow-painted crush cars will be part of the fun, aside from your favorite Monster Truck will be smashing, crashing, jumping, spinning and more!

During the show, each truck will be scored and by the end of your time with us, one of the drivers will win the Champions Cup.
