The weekend is starting off messy. We will see a mixed bag of precipitation into the late morning and early Saturday afternoon.
MORNING: Areas of rain will change over to some freezing rain or sleet through this morning. Western and Northern Maine also seeing snow. Most of that starts off in Western and Northwestern Maine. Expect icy and slick conditions. Starting off mild as well, with falling temperatures through the morning.
EARLY AFTERNOON: Most areas should begin to see precipitation end. The only exception is into Northern and Eastern Maine. Icy and slick spots will still be an issue. Temperatures will continue to tumble, back into the 20s and 30s.
EARLY EVENING: Most of the precipitation moves east. Much colder, with temperatures in the teens and 20s.
Sunday is looking sunny, but cold! Highs will only reach the low to mid teens in many spots.
