(NEWS CENTER Maine)-- Windham native Nick Roma is living a wintry, Olympic dream.
After working at Sunday River, Roma traveled west and started working on some of the most prominent mountains in the country. Roma then set his sights on the world.

As the director of operations for White Industries, Roma is responsible for designing tracks, planning and executing world cup events all year round. The 2018 Pyeongchang games are the third Olympics Roma has worked. Not too bad for this self-described 'ski bum' from Maine.

Roma has a special job in these games: he controls the snowboard cross competition course. "If you follow your dreams you never know where it will take you. We will have two new gold medalists in snowboard cross. One new man and one for the ladies tomorrow, so it's pretty exciting."
