Scott Taylor is a busy film producer. Holly Star is the third film he's produced here in Maine. It is a cheerful Christmas comedy that pairs live actors with puppets. And the puppets were made for the film right here in Maine. Along with the puppets from Figures of Speech Theater of Freeport, Taylor also enlisted Maine director Michael A.Nickles and lead actor Pamela Chabora. And a number of News Center Maine alum can be seen in the film.
The film is being screened in Biddeford December 20-22.
