KENNEBUNK (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- Police are dealing with a case of tomfoolery in the town of Kennebunk.
On Wednesday morning, police responded to a report of a home break-in only to find the suspect was a turkey. Yes, an ACTUAL turkey.
Based on the pictures taken by the police department, this tom wasn’t terribly terrific and caused quite a bit of damage. He flew into and broke a second story window to get into the home on Cat Mousam Road. Kennebunk's animal control officer responded and was able to get the turkey out safely and return him to the wild.
Police have released a sketch of the turkey. If you see him, you may want to keep your distance.
