Caring for an aging Maine
Nursing homes are closing. There are fewer beds in assisted living facilities. While there *may be enough beds to fill the need, those beds aren't neccessarily close to home. As a result, many elderly Mainers are being forced to move far away from their families to get the daily assistance they need.
