Gusty west and northwest winds will be the big story heading into the start of your weekend.

A wind advisory is in place, from The National Weather Service. These go until early this evening.

Sustained winds anywhere between 20 to 30 mph are likely, with higher gusts up to 50 mph. This could lead to some scattered power outages into Saturday afternoon.

Winds will ease up late Saturday night into early Sunday. It'll still be breezy at times, but nowhere near what we will feel Saturday afternoon, as high pressure continues to build in.

We will stay quiet to start the week, but our attention then shifts to another storm potential into midweek. Right now, snow arrives late Tuesday and will continue into Wednesday.
