WET WEEKEND: Rain and snow melt could lead to some flooding | CORY'S BLOG

Saturday will be the wettest day of the week. Minor flooding is possible along local rivers.

Unsettled conditions will continue through the upcoming weekend. Thursday and Friday will see a few showers, but nothing compared to what we will see Saturday.

Heavy rain will move in late Friday night and will extend into Saturday. Right now, rainfall estimates are anywhere between a half an inch to up to two inches of rain. You combine this with the ongoing snow melt, and there could be some minor flooding along local rivers and streams. If you encounter high water or a road covered in water just find a different route. Areas of moderate flooding can't be ruled out.

Easter Sunday will still see some rain, especially early in the day. There will be a few lingering showers for the afternoon and evening.
