All the talk today will be about the Pats and the warm temps. Highs will top 50 in many spots and records may fall today. 51 is the number to beat in both Portland and Bangor.
Winter will snap back tonight and temps will come crashing down. Tomorrow will be quiet but highs only around 30.
Thursday morning is looking more and more interesting. A wave of low pressure will slide through New England dropping precipitation Wednesday night through Thursday morning. The placement, track and timing may line up perfectly to keep a lot of the precipitation all snow here in Northern New England and several inches are possible.
There will be a fine line between mixing and no mixing so these numbers may be adjusted up or down. But the point is, Thursday morning's commute will likely be slow and slippery.
