MAINE, USA — A frontal system will slide through the Northeast today with snow and rain. Snow showers will break out late this morning. Some may be briefly intense but temps will be rising above freezing. I don't think roads will get too bad but some will grease up with snow and slush. Snow will flip to rain showers during the afternoon along and near the coastline before tapering off this evening.
Remember that Sunday night storm that I said would be a complete miss? Well...it may not. The storm has crept back north and may graze us with some light snow Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. I'm still not jazzed about the jetstream phasing., therefore a direct hit is highly unlikely.
But, small accumulations of an inch or two are not out of the question.
I suggest you keep checking back with us for updates through the the day and weekend.
