This quick hitting storm will end quickly from west to east this morning. But the damage has been done, with several inches of snow on the ground, the morning commute is going to be a mess. Here's a look at today's timeline:
The sun will be out in most areas the entire afternoon and the commute home will be much smoother. But, don't dilly-dally getting home. An intense line of snow squalls will race through this evening between 6-9 PM with wind whipped snow, possible white-outs and greasy roads. Most areas will see additional small accumulations.
The squalls are the leading edge of the news-making cold in the Midwest. Wind chill temps are dangerously cold out there and heading east.
Check out how cold it will feel by tomorrow morning here in Maine...oof.
