MAINE, USA — A few inches of snow fell last night and there's a bit of clean up for us out there this morning. Drive carefully early on, but sunshine should help improve road conditions real fast.
A small storm system will slide back into Maine tomorrow and tomorrow night. Another round of manageable snow is expected with minor accumulations. Light snow will break out mid-morning and continue through the afternoon before tapering in the evening.
This will once again be a fluffy, dry snow making for an easy clean up.
We'll be keeping an eye on the end of the week and weekend for more storm threats. A wave will be sliding by to our south on Friday. Early thoughts keep the storm south of us with a flat and progressive jetstream.
But Sunday may have a different result. The jet will attempt to dig deeper into the South. This gives a better chance of storm capture and strengthening on the East Coast.
