BRRRRRR! It's going to be COLD this weekend!

A cold air mass will remain in the area through the weekend. High temperatures will only be in the teens and a few low 20s. You factor in the winds, which will be coming out of the northwest around 10-20 MPH, and those wind chills will feel much worse. Some towns in western and northern areas of the state could have those wind chills approach 30 degrees below zero, Friday night and early Saturday morning.

A wind chill advisory is in place Friday night into early Saturday morning.

Wind chills for Saturday morning.
NEWS CENTER Maine

Winds will relax into Sunday, but it will still remain very cold. Overnight lows will be well below zero in most spots.

We won't see any relief in temperatures, until we start the week. High temperatures will eventually "warm" back up into the 30s into Wednesday.

Stay warm!
