A frontal system will work in later today and may initiate some stronger thunderstorms over the northern half of the State through the evening.
While a few showers will be around before noon, the storm threat doesn't get going until we get into some daytime heating.
A mid-level speed max along the Canadian border may support some stronger updrafts and provide a risk for damaging wind gusts or small hail in any storm that forms.
