The biggest snowstorm this season arrived just as promised: 

2:30 p.m.The sleet has kept snow totals down across the state. Road are still slick, so still use caution. Here's a look in the greater Bangor area.

10:40 a.m. Heavy snowfall has stopped for much of the state replaced by a nasty mixture of snow, freezing rain and sleet for the coast.   

10:15 a.m. Portland Pier is closed because of flooding. 

9:50 a.m. High tide causes flooding in some coastal areas like Camp Ellis in Saco, Kennebunkport and Portland. Russ Grady sent us this shot of Dyke Road as the high tide spilled over the street.

6:45 a.m. Snow has changed to sleet and freezing rain in York County as driving conditions continue to worsen.

6:15 a.m. Snow is falling across every inch of Maine as cold temperatures and winds are blowing through on this Storm Sunday.  Road conditions are treacherous as snow comes down around 1 to 2 inches an hour.

Coastal flooding is expected to be a problem during Sunday's storm as an already high tide grows higher. 

A viewer in Waterville had some fun with Todd, poking fun at Cory's pants and youth. It made everyone in the newsroom laugh, especially Mr. Froomkin. 

Some Mainers are so creative! Like Nicolas Oppedisano in Wiscasset who built his own snowmobile plow out of an old bait barrel and scrap wood. Who said snow removal has to be a chore?
