Snow begins tonight, around midnight in Greater Portland, 3 a.m. in Bangor, and closer to 6 a.m. in Aroostook County.
It may mix with some sleet or rain, limiting amounts closer to the coast. Farther inland, it will be mostly snow.

The morning commute will be most impacted, with slippery and snow-covered roads. The snow will end in western Maine during the late morning and midday, so the afternoon will be fine there.
However, the snow will continue in eastern and northern Maine into the evening, affecting the afternoon commute.
