Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye were onto something when they tap danced merrily singing about dreams of a white Thanksgiving.
Truly few things are more festive than a turkey trot in 15 F with fresh snow on the ground.
I'm getting giddy just thinking about it....
Yup, another fall snowstorm is on the way. This one is a modified Alberta Clipper, but it will have a little extra juice and that will mean snowfall in excess of the "typical clipper" 1-3".
Light snow starts tonight over southern Maine, but waits until the morning tomorrow to move into the Midcoast and Central Maine.
By midday snow has spread into Downeast and northern Maine and it's thumping pretty good along the coastline.
Unlike the last storm I don't think the rain/snow line will be an issue, if anything that line pushes well into the Gulf of Maine by lunch time.
Snow continues after sunset before finally wrapping out by 9-10 PM.
Here's the snowfall map that I know you all came for. (You probably skipped right to it actually, kids these days. No attention span)
After the storm is over it's going to be BRUTAL cold for Thanksgiving.
And I felt there was no better way to illustrate that point than a creepy-human-ish turkey graphic that corporate gave us....
Ok I'm out.
