ETNA (NEWS CENTER Maine) — State police responded Tuesday afternoon to multiples vehicle slide-offs along I-95 southbound in the area of mile marker 163 in Etna.
Real-time traffic maps showed major congestion shortly after 3 p.m. just north of Route 69 in the area of West Etna Road and Woodman Brook, both of which pass underneath the interstate.
State police urged travelers to use caution in the area.
At about 4 p.m., the roadway had been shut down to one lane. Crews planned to reopen it as soon as they pulled the last car out of the ditch.
