BANGOR, Maine — A detour will take place on Friday, Oct. 4, at the intersection of Ohio and Fourteenth Street.

According to a release from the city of Bangor, the detour will be from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., and that traffic headed towards downtown will have to take Fifteenth Street to Union Street and then get on Wiley Street back to Ohio Street. 

The city advised that traffic going outbound will need to take Wiley Street to Union Street and then get on Fifteenth Street back to Ohio Street. 

Detour signs will be posted to help guide traffic. 

The city says the detour will cause a short delay, and to plan accordingly.
