BREWER, Maine — A crash caused delays on the northbound side of I-95 in Bangor (mile marker 185) Friday morning.
A Maine State Police trooper told NEWS CENTER Maine's Chloe Teboe the crash happened a little after 7 a.m. and involved five vehicles.
According to the trooper, a pickup truck spun out of control, causing a chain reaction, while other cars tried to avoid it. The trooper said road conditions were to blame, as the area got a light dusting of slippery snow.
One man had back and neck injuries, but they aren't serious. He and a couple of other people involved were transported to a local hospital by the Bangor Fire Department as a precautionary measure.
Three cars had to be towed. Two were slightly damaged but drivable.
