FOXBORO, Mass. (Patriots Wire) — It’s been four months since the Patriots lost Super Bowl LII to the Eagles, and Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have finally reported to mandatory minicamp — ending their holdout from team activities.

Here’s some proof:

A lot happened over the course of those four months. For a while, people thought neither player would return to the team. Then reports were that Gronk would only return if Brady did, but then the tight end actually confirmed his planned return to the team prior to his quarterback doing so. Then once they both committed to playing in 2018, the media obsessed over their apparent mutual disinterest in working out with the team at OTAs.

The aggravation over their absence from OTAs has been the prevailing narrative until today – a regional day of reprieve, kicked off with Belichick reiterating that he’s always had a good relationship with Brady before shutting down and putting himself on autopilot for the rest of his media availability.

So there you have it, folks. Happy Tuesday.
