PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- Maine is moving on. The UMaine women's basketball team beat UMBC 65-43 in the America East tournament quarterfinals on Saturday, punching a ticket to Sunday's semifinals.
Van Buren's Parise Rossignol had a big day off the bench, putting up a career best 15 points.Tanesha Sutton recorded her seventh career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Blanca Millan put up a game-high 21 points.
The top seeded Black Bears will face #5 UNH in the semifinals Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Cross Arena.
