Houston ranks No. 1 in dog attacks on mail carriers

The Postal Service is releasing the top cities of reported dog attacks on mail carriers.

AUSTIN-- The Postal Service is releasing the top cities of reported dog attacks on mail carriers.

Nationwide more than 5,500 postal workers were attacked last year.

Houston is number one with 63 attacks, Dallas is seventh with 45, Forth Worth is ranked 16th with 26 attacks.

San Antonio comes in at 19th with 22 reports, Austin is ranked 26th with 15 and El Paso reporting 14 attacks and ranked 27th in the United States.
