SIDNEY, Maine — A Texas man with a heart condition reportedly experienced a "white out" while driving on Interstate I-95 Sunday morning, triggering a crash that sent four people to area hospitals.

Michael Moore, 74, of Texas was headed south in a 2017 GMC pickup truck, hauling a travel trailer, when the truck drifted into the passing lane and struck a 2007 Infiniti driven by Janet Arthur, 60, of Tennessee, the Morning Sentinel reported.

The two vehicles went into the median, and Moore's pickup and camper rolled over onto the top of the sedan.

Moore and his wife, Susan Moore, 65, were taken to MaineGeneral Hospital in Augusta with minor injuries, as were Arthur's passengers, Linda Overly, 55, and Barbera Knigge, 53.

Michael Moore reportedly said from the hospital that a heart condition caused him to "white out," the Morning Sentinel reported. He remained at the hospital Sunday for observation.

The southbound passing lane of I-95 was closed in Sidney for approximately two hours.
