BRUNSWICK, Maine — Just when we think it's safe to retire the winter gloves mother nature says 'think again.'
It's just par for the course for a couple of Mainers; a course they pedal on every day.
Norman Pacholski and Stacia Saniuk-Gove are co-workers who bike about a half hour to their jobs in Brunswick every day, no matter the weather. Just when they were ready to retire the snow tires they decided to wait after hearing the forecast for rain and snow Tuesday.
They say a little encouragement from their work-family certainly helps.
"Sometimes they're like, 'really? You did that today?'" said Pacholski.
"We can a little bit of applause when we come in," said Saniuk-Gove. "'Yes, you did it in the rain.'"

They're also training for the upcoming Trek Across Maine, which they say is even more motivation for a day like this.
"If it's raining hard I kind of do a second guess," said Pacholski. "It's only 20 minutes if I really book it hard."
Thinking about starting a routine of your own? It's a perfect time because it's national #biketoworkweek and Friday is #biketoworkday.
