KENDUSKEAG (NEWS CENTER Maine)--
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says a missing brother and sister have been found safe and were then arrested for breaking into and stealing from area camps.
Brother and sister 21-year-old Michael Smith and 19-year-old Crystal Smith had been missing from their Kenduskeag home since Wednesday.
Police say they had walked away on foot and a search effort was organized for them.
Around 5:45 pm Sunday, the pair was located in a camp after an area property owner found them inside his camp.
Michael and Crystal Smith are being held at the Penobscot County Jail.
