CONCORD, N.H. (NECN) — The New Hampshire Democratic Party says a suspicious package was found at its Concord headquarters Monday afternoon.
Chair Ray Buckley announced Monday night that a staff member had been treated as a precaution. Several were evacuated, he said.
"This afternoon, we alerted authorities immediately upon finding a suspicious package at the NHDP Headquarters," Buckley said in a statement. "We are cooperating fully with the authorities and are grateful for all they are doing to ensure our safety."
New Hampshire State Police say bomb technicians and Central New Hampshire HAZMAT are investigating.
