3 men arrested for stealing 25-ft shed in Lebanon, police say

Three men from New England were arrested over the weekend after police say they tried to steal a 25-foot shed by dragging it down a road with a pick-up truck.
Police say they arrested Matthew Thompson of Lebanon, Timothy James of Pembroke, NH and Robert Breton of Milton, NH on Sunday, May 20.

LEBANON (NEWS CENTER Maine) — Three men were arrested after they were allegedly found dragging a 25-foot shed with a pick-up truck down a road in Lebabon.

Police arrested Matthew Thompson of Lebanon, Timothy James of Pembroke, N.H. and Robert Breton of Milton, N.H. on Sunday, May 20. A citizen tipped police off that the men were taking the shed off a foreclosed property on Pork Street.

Half of the road on Heath Road was blocked by the shed when police caught up with the three men.

Police arrested the trio, and while doing so, officers said they found Thompson had crystal meth along with prescription pills on him without a prescription.

The three men are being charged with theft, reckless conduct and criminal mischief. Matthew Thompson is also being charged with unlawful possession

The men were taken to the York County Jail, and bail was set at $5,000.
