STANDISH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- One man is dead after an overnight car crash in Standish.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department says 19-year-old, Trey James died in the crash after losing control of his car.

The crash happened near the area of Cape Road and Woodbine Drive. Police say James was driving South on Cape Rd when he struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both Cape Road and Saco Road were closed down while crews reconstructed the crash. The crash remains under investigations.
