#wakeMEup | We want to see how you start your day!

However you're waking up, share it with us!

Waking up on the right side of the bed is a lot easier for Katie on her days off. On workdays, the alarm goes off at 3 a.m.

What is #wakeMEup?

Think of it as a way to get a glimpse at how people all across the state are starting their day. From York to Fort Kent and everywhere in between, Mainers all start their day one foot at a time. But there is something about Maine that makes mornings unique. For most it is getting right to work, or maybe getting the kids off to school, while for others it is pausing just to take in the view. However you're waking up, share it with us!

How do you share your photos & videos?

It's simple! You can use the #wakeMEup on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. You can also message us your photo or video directly with #wakeMEup on our Facebook page. If you don't want to do that, head on over to the #wakeMEup section of our app.

What happens after you share?

This is the best part! We get to go through all the submissions and share the best ones every day. Select photos will be shown on air, our website and on our social media platforms. If you see them, make sure you share with your friends and family!

Yes, it's for more than just your pets!

Here at NEWS CENTER Maine there is no denying our love for pets. However, we want to see more than just how Fido is hanging out on the couch (unless he's watching the Morning Report or sipping coffee). Get creative! Get the kids and family involved! But most importantly: Have fun!

What's the deal with that song?

It's our new jingle! We had Maine musicians write it just for us. (Warning: It's likely to get stuck in your head.) Every time you hear it, it means we are going to share your #wakeMEup photos and videos on air! So run to the TV. Our apologies if you are caught singing or humming the tune for the rest of the day.
