NEWS CENTER Maine --There are many options for a great brunch, in Maine. One of those gems is right in Portland. The Sinful Kitchen is at 906 Brighton Avenue. It's just a short distance from the Portland-Westbrook line.
The restaurant is special in that it serves gluten-free options. Chef and owner, Dave Mallari, has Celiac Disease. He tells me he and his wife once had to drive THREE hours for gluten-free pancakes! They wanted an option that could be closer to the city.
Here is a look at their menu. Many of the items on the menu can be made with gluten-free ingredients, unless otherwise specified. I chose the honey cinnamon french toast, and I wasn't disappointed! I had to take the rest of it home with me.
